The dress? on the left was worn for the first kiss between Padme and her future husband. The designer was going for a dress that looked like it would fall off if one sneezed. Heck, if I was kissing Anakin Skywalker I more than likely would vomit let alone sneeze. But that is just me. Han Solo would be an entirely different issue.
Appropriate attire for the Met Gala held on Naboo
Yes, this is her nightgown and robe. I dress the same for bed, LOL.
This must have been from her failed attempt at a career in hip-hop
And yes, some of us make really bad choices in men. Like marrying the future Darth Vader.
I apologize to you and myself for not taking pics of all the descriptions. My memory is not what it used to be for useless trivia.
She sure had a variety of outfits!
ReplyDeletebetty
Kept a few people busy designing and making them no doubt.
DeleteThese outfits are quite beautiful and so detailed and...hot! Having to wear these brocade and heavy outfits must have been hot under all the lights etc.. that dress could come off if Han Solo came into the room. I have to laugh at the hip hop outfit because of the scene it was in. The animal that swiped at her knew exactly where to take off part of her outfit.
ReplyDeleteOH. Now I have to go back and watch that scene.
DeleteI don't really remember Padme. When she married Anakin he wasn't a bad guy was he?
ReplyDeleteNo, he hadn't yet turned, but if you look closely you can see his metal right hand. Padme is in the early episodes that were made after the original trilogy. She was played by Natalie Portman.
DeleteI LOVE the yellow-peachy-lavender one in the third pix. Light as air.
ReplyDeleteYeah. The sneezy one!
DeleteLOL Allergies?
