Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.

What a fabulous photo to have. The hair is great but I know what you mean about it being too much trouble. I've been to Niagara falls once, and was amazed at the beauty of the place despite the huge amount of tourists around. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI was coloring every four weeks. And it took forever. I have so many old photos to go through. I'd write a post about it but I am just too busy. I love Niagara. I should scan and post photos of my trip on the rapids.
DeleteMy parents honeymooned at Niagara Fall back in 1953. Sadly I don't think I'll make it there. I used to color/highlight my hair. Got to be that I had to do it about every 6 weeks. It ended up being eliminated.

Niagara is about four hours from here. I've been a few times.
DeleteMovie star!!! 🕶
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind.
DeleteFirst place Matt took me when I originally landed in Canada. Fantastic place. I was blond for a few years but when I came here, I found it too much work as well because we had a pool so my hair was always showing the partings, then in the winter we skiied so the same thing happened with wearing toques which flattened my hair as well so I gave up.
ReplyDeleteI have many fond memories of many trips there and to Toronto. Chaperoned a huge group of young teens once to see Phantom in Toronto.
DeleteOh how I love platinum blonde - wore that shade for years. Now it is pale blonde, easy upkeep.
ReplyDeleteNow I just have my hair done with low-lights. Don't have to do it as often.
DeleteBeen down that road. HL thought I was Barbie Blonde when we got married. ;) He still suffers under the delusion I will morph into her one of these days. So I bought a key chain years ago that says, "Not born Barbie. Trying to cope anyway!" Still have it! :D
ReplyDeleteI met my husband when I was blonde but changed the color before the wedding. Love the key chain.
DeleteI stopped coloring my hair about three years ago. I turned grey prematurely. Now, I don't care who thinks I'm old. I'm grey and I'm proud. (Been to Niagara Falls three times, but it's been a long time.) Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGrey is the 'in' color right now - or so I have been told.
