That last picture is from a 'volunteer' Rose of Sharon. Originally I planted two double whites and when they died off I saved three little seedlings. This is one of them.
I knew I recognised that flower. Friend in Blowing Rock, NC gave us two cuttings from their plants and we grew them in our garden in NC. The white one lived forever, the lilac one didn't live as long.
