Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
I've been to Arlington twice, both during Independence Day celebrations. It's awe inspiring especially when you see the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in heavy dress garb, standing guard motionless in 100 plus degree humid heat. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
I've been there only once, during a school trip, and had so little time to look. I was impressed. Umm, not all president's are buried here, are they? If they never fought in a war, they can't be buried their, I hope.

ReplyDeleteOnly Taft and Kennedy are buried there. Unfortunately, the current idiot can be buried there, but, the sooner the better.
