I mentioned last year that none of us in my immediate family are religious. Yet, I continued to host Easter dinner. Last year I said I wasn't cooking but somehow ended up making brunch AND dinner for my sons.
I admit defeat.
This year I am again cooking dinner for my family and my sister's. Our menu is as follows:
Hummus, skordalia and naan
Grilled leg of lamb with tabil sauce or tzatziki
Spanikopita
Pastitsio
Greek salad
Green beans
Pita
Berry lemon mousse torte
And since the grandkids will probably like nothing except the hummus, naan and beans, I'll make some spaghetti. We are Northern Italian after all.
Whether you celebrate Passover or Easter this week, or just the arrival of spring, enjoy it with friends and family.
Sounds delicious! Happy Spring to you Denise, such as it is. We haven't had much good weather at all, so far.

ReplyDeleteI love the sound of that! I did an enormous Greek feast for my lot last month. There's nothing quite like it!
ReplyDeleteI love Greek salad 🥗 and the Greek restaurants here on Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦 make the best lamb chops.
