Winter - A Picture is worth a Thousand Words
This was the second storm in a week. I lucked out with the ice storm and no major damage. But that birch tree in the top picture lost two large branches. And two large mugo pines in the side yard are looking pretty bad but the snow is too deep too check them out. It will be a very busy spring cleanup.

Glad you escaped major damage, Denise and your photos are gorgeous! Our winter weather has been strange, alternating between cold and mild. The other night, we had a snowstorm and a thunderstorm all at the same time. Thundersnow!
ReplyDeleteYes, we had thundersnow too. Power out, cable out what a mess!
DeleteIt looks so beautiful but I know about the damage - we lucked out last year with a wet, gloppy storm (only lost some branches, and a lilac) but one of my co workers had a tree fall on her garage. It took a while for people to get repairs. I'm happy and grateful something like that didn't happen to you. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am also glad nothing fell on houses around here. But lots of trees on utility lines and folks still without power.
DeleteWow - looks beautiful. Even we had snow here - in fact it snowed this morning. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful. And fortunately the temps were above freezing so it was easy to clean up.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Denise ... just brings back memories when I've seen days like this one. Cheers and hope the clear up isn't too challenging - Hilary
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you. They are predicting more snow for Friday. UGH!
DeleteThese pics are stunning and can be your Christmas cards. We are to get another storm tomorrow but it seems, it will hit the Niagara region more
ReplyDeleteWell, that storm moved through here. They said 4-8 inches of snow, so they closed the schools. We got one inch!
DeleteSo different from my view right now. Grey, grey and more grey!
