Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
I'm a great lover of both. grapes and vine leaves. I'm especially fond of Hebron black grapes, and of stuffed vine leaves. Of course, I'm attracted to works of art that feature these two foodies(those in the last picture well resemble my preferrable grapes and their leaves).
We have lots of wild grape vines around here. Many families from the Middle East who live here go around picking off the leaves for stuffing. I love red grapes, but they are pretty pricey around here.
I like the grape pix. Of course I prefer my grapes juiced, fermented and put in a bottle. I also love stuffed vine leaves. Reminds me of a story. Will blog it.
I enjoy the fermented kind. Unfortunately, I fall asleep after one glass. Now I have a craving for stuffed grape leaves. Luckily, there is a Lebanese restaurant just down the road.
