Rain, rain and more rain

Enough already.  It has rained off and on all day after having storms last night.  Does this look like enough?
My dry creek was dry when I went to bed last night.  Now?  Not so much.
My peonies are all in bud and ants are enjoying them, but they are truly water-logged.
This is the sky just a few minutes ago.  Maybe it will pass me by.
I guess if there is anything to be said for the rain is that little boys love it.  We all had a good laugh. Enjoy this video.

    1. For some reason I can't see the video on my Kindle either. It must be the format of the video.

    1. We are not supposed to get any rain again until tomorrow. May be some of the puddles will be gone by then.

  5. It's 103 here today. I was sick of all our rain, but after a few 100 degree days, I am longing for just 1 rainy cool day.

  6. I had to switch to Chrome and "enable" flash to see your video but it was cute. Reminds me of my son when he was young. Children love playing in puddles. Not like us adults, who fear floods. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. I had to switch to Chrome to write my posts. Microsoft's browser made a mess of things on my computer.

  7. We've had the opposite...very dry spring so far. The lawn looks terrible.

I know I keep saying the same things, but I adore your garden! That little bridge is the best.

  8. Yup, we've had standing water along the alley fence several times in the last couple weeks. Not in the basement though, thank God.

    1. Now that I carry flood insurance, my basement has never flooded. When I didn't have insurance, it did. I'm sitting her waiting for more rain.
