Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
What's going on with May? Aren't the showers supposed to be in April? It's a little frustrating, that's for sure. The only good thing about it is the lushness of the greenery. Your yard is absolutely gorgeous, Denise! The mellow sound of Frank's voice complements the photos.
That blue flower is a 'volunteer' columbine. It showed up in that bed this year. I do not grow these in the back garden, but now I have two plants growing there. They spread by seeds and even though I try to cut back the dead flowers, I now have many more plants than I did when I started out.
It sure is pretty and green Denise. But too much rain is a pain in the rear. We have been having quite a bit of rain here this weekend. We are also "enjoying" your favourite fireworks as it's Victoria Day tomorrow as you know. Your garden does look lovely.
I clicked on the Frank Sinatra and enjoyed your garden. It's so beautiful - I can appreciate the hard work you obviously put into it. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteThank you. It is pouring here again. Just too much rain this year.

ReplyDeleteWow, you have a great yard. Love that foot bridge.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Can't even imagine how much time it takes to have a gorgeous yard like that.
ReplyDeleteIt's only looked like this since I retired. No way I could manage it when I worked full time and I wonder how many more years I can keep it up.
