Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
Until I started taking photos of my flowers, I never realized how it faded to white. My mother gave me this plant from her yard 40 years ago. It took forever to establish and bloom.
Cool! I didn't know they faded. Think I like it best white. It's cool you recorded it! Oh, my! I sound like I am sixteen: all the cools. ;) Barbara, blogging at Life & Faith in Caneyhead

I've never done this type of post. What a great idea (and what a pretty flower, in all of its stages). Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

DeleteBeautiful. I could never grow them, nor hydrangeas, despite the fact every other yard in a 40 mile radius could grow both with no problem
ReplyDeleteI cannot grow butterfly bush though it thrives in my sister's garden.

I never realized they faded either until I paid more attention to them.
DeleteLovely... probably my favorite flower. Unfortunately they don't do well in our climate so I appreciate the pics!
