Snowdrift Crabapple
Green at last
Hostas popping up all over
Can we eat outside on Sunday? (They are predicting rain)
Enjoy your week-end.
Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
That is a beautiful tree. Is that a side garden of yours? Is that your back yard? It is beautiful and you took great pictures
ReplyDeleteIt is the side shade garden, really just a 12 foot wide path to the back. I'll take more pictures as the spring and summer progress.
DeleteLove your signs of spring! We supposedly have rain headed back to us. I think we actually just made it through a whole week without rain. I can't remember the last time we managed that! My son can't be here for his birthday tomorrow or mother's day on Sunday, So, my highlight of the weekend is that I intend to spend tomorrow evening in our pool. Please stay warm and sunny one more day!
ReplyDeleteStopping in from Life & Faith in Caneyhead
It poured here last night with more rain coming today. That combined with these high temps, for us, will make everything come alive. Cooking dinner for two of my sons on Sunday. (It's what I love to do.)
DeleteWe have had hot sunny weather recently but it is supposed to cool right down in the next few days. Wanted to buy herbs but hubby thinks we should wait. Love the blossom on your tree. Lots of blossom here although some of it has fallen already. Spring is always in a hurry round here to make sure it is ready for summer when/if we get any. What time's dinner? I'll bring the asparagus, just got some rhubarb too.
ReplyDeleteWe are having chicken pot pie with biscuits, salad, and cannoli for dessert. Starting with baked brie at 2:00.
DeleteAnd I don't get this til 9 p.m. tut tut. Sounds pretty good Denise. I love cannoli.
DeleteThe late time is because I was baby-sitting and couldn't get to my computer. Sorry, lol. I recently discovered that my favorite bakery cannoli uses no cheese, just heavy cream. No wonder mine never taste like theirs.
