Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.

Q is for Quay in Lucerne
What can possible be better than walking along a Quay in Lucerne, Switzerland? Well, if the day is lovely, simply nothing. And that is what I spent the day doing. Walking the city. But since this is about the letter Q for Quay and not L, for Lucerne, let's focus on the water views. Enjoy.
And the park along the Quay.
This was day 8.
On my Bucket List: Quito, Ecuador

Just beautiful! I haven't been to Lucerne but what I saw of Switzerland made me want to see more!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
I've got four more Switzerland posts, so stay tuned!
DeleteYay! Thanks, Denise. Lucerne is definitely one of my top five Swiss destinations.
DeleteThe A to Z is giving you lots of opportunities to talk about your travels. What wonders you have seen!
ReplyDeleteLovely spot. I too wish I had been to Switzerland, it really is a gorgeous place and Matt found the locals to be very friendly.
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning! The old covered bridge-was that the one destroyed by a fire or something in the 80's or 90's? Unsure but it is beautiful. I wonder what those condos go for??:)
ReplyDeleteYes. That is the bridge rebuilt after the 1993 fire. I an sure that the condo's go for a lot, like everything else in Switzerland. My guide in Lucerne said he used to live and work there, but spent most of his time staring at the mountains out of his office window. Wouldn't you love a view of mountains every day?
