Zurich, Switzerland is a beautiful city on the banks of Lake Zurich. The language here is German. The other three languages of Switzerland are French, Italian, and Romansh. This was my first stop on the trip, so I am truly back where I started from.
The city center has three large churches. The Grossmunster Church is surely the largest and is seen on the right.

Shopping was a little too rich for my wallet. Zurich is the most expensive city I have ever visited. Nothing else even comes close. Talk about sticker shock! Even eating here was costly. But, it was a great start to three weeks in Europe and you only live once.
I hope you enjoyed your journey with me and that maybe you have been bitten by the 'travel bug', even if only in pictures. Thanks for traveling with me and commenting along the way. You are all great travel partners!
On my Bucket List: Zhanjiang, China
