I hope each of you have a pleasant Thanksgiving and have lots to be thankful for. Last year my granddaughter was thankful for unicorns and the speech by her older brother about them not being real was precious. She gave him the evil eye.

Yum! I was waiting to see if you would post your dinner. I remember that snow storm. My Aunt and Uncle came for the long weekend since it was the 1st of Advent. Just like now, Advent and Thanksgiving were on the same long weekend. They had 3 kids, 6, 2 and 2 months. They left our place where it was sunny but as the hours left us by, my mom became more worried. We didn't know but they got caught in the snowstorm and we're stick on the car. Thankfully, someone came in a snowmobile and rescued them. They stayed with the family for 4 days until they could finally get back to their car. . They never came for 1st of Advent again.
ReplyDeleteIt was crazy. My M-I-L flew in from Chicago. We had to wait until she could get a flight back. Luckily for us we had no kids to worry about.
DeleteDo you deliver? LOL. Grateful I don't have to travel because it's snowing right now. But, it is actually above freezing. We have enough experience with large snowdumps where I live in the Southern Tier of NY. Once we got about 36 inches on my birthday. Not a recommended birthday gift.
ReplyDeleteOne of my sons works for a private country club. He has suggested that I might want to order my dinner from them in the future. Pricey, but a lot less work.
DeleteNo snow here. I was just north of the snow line yesterday.
