Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
This has been a banner year for hydrangeas on the East Coast, especially mopheads. Although these aren't mopheads, I love green flowers in general. I used to grow green zinnias (Envy) but they don't compare to your Limelight hydrangeas.
I usually don't even notice them until they turn white. But the rain had stopped and I looked out the door to see the green color in the sunlight. Couldn't resist the photo.
