Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
OMG! I love the train you created and I might “borrow” your idea one day, if you don’t mind. I actually love Thomas the train and Percy is my favourite so I hand it to your grandson who must have loved everything here including that cake!
Yes, from British authors I have read I understand that you have a few days of summer in July. It was so hot here one July 4th we had cooling fans outside. With the AC running inside, LOL.
I tried to post a comment on this yesterday, but it's always difficult when I'm reading on my tablet. Anyway......I wanted to say BRAVO! I love the vegetable train, too, but everything looks wonderful. Happy birthday, Charlie!
You are very talented and could be a party planner. That veggie train is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteThank you. All that money spent at evening classes in culinary school comes in handy. And my daughter in law has great party skills.
DeleteThe four year old boy is adorable! Happy Birthday to him!
ReplyDeleteThe food looked rich and versatile.
Everyone enjoyed it.

ReplyDeleteI actually got the train idea from Pinterest. But the ants on a log for the rails was mine. And did you recognize the purple train? It's Charlie.
DeleteI am very impressed with the train too. The cake was fantastic as well. What happened to my invitation?
ReplyDeleteWith our lousy weather none of the family west of our area could make it.
DeleteIt is snowing again.
DeleteFantastic - colourful tasty and quite a feast. If the snow stops by July you can do my party food!
ReplyDeleteA-Z of My Friend Rosey!
