Though sometimes the 'Golden Years' seem more like tarnished brass, they are not the end of adventure. I invite you to follow me as I enjoy my days as a full-time life observer. I'll cover life, travel, food, gardening, whatever crosses my path.
I live in the south and only have seen snow a handful of times, so it is always beautiful for me. I just discovered your blog through Wordless Wednesday and hope to explore it in the coming days. I hope you can visit mine also as I am newly back into blogging after taking a few years off to raise my little ones and sure could use a comment and/or a follow :)
Impressive snow and probably wind. The weather here has brought down one of the oldest Gaint sequoias. A long time ago some idiots decided to run a road through it.
Nice pictures - not so nice living through it. We had an ice event Wednesday - didn't really affect the trees, for some reason, but coated all the roads and sidewalks. One former co worker broke his wrist. Another current co worker fell and tore her pants. Not fun! Shall we have another meeting of the "I hate winter" club? I'll provide refreshments, once I'm over my stomach bug. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
Sound like a plan. I am finally over my virus. My elderly neighbor fell on her driveway and banged up her head and arm. I hate ice even more than snow.
Wow!!
ReplyDeleteEgads! Is that right now?
ReplyDeleteNo. That was a few years ago. We have no snow here. Had three inches yesterday and it all melted.
DeleteThat is so pretty! I wish we had that right now but we just have rain and blah
ReplyDeletePretty! Our snow melted too. AS Birgit said, rain and blah.
ReplyDeleteWe still have snow but a lot of it was washed away by rain last night. Love the birches.
ReplyDeleteeven in the worst times, beauty is there.... enjoy your retirement!
