A Sunday Dinner in Pictures

Sometimes you plan an event and hardly anyone shows.  I mean it must have happened to others and not just me.  There was a miscommunication, a previous commitment and an illness.  It resulted in a lot of food and only a few of us to savor it.  So, I'll share it with you and everyone who missed it.

Crab Cakes on Mixed Greens with Citrus Vinaigrette

Caprese Salad with White Balsamic Pear Vinaigrette

Rack of Lamb Genghis Khan

Potatoes Dauphinoise

Honey Glazed Carrots

Spiced Pumpkin Mousse and Italian Cream Cheese Tart on a Gingersnap Crust

All recipes available on request.  Yum!

  2. I am particularly interested in the Rack of Lamb Genghis Kahn. Would you share the recipe please. It all looks delicious, sorry not everyone you expected was there. It has happened to me a couple of times. It can be infuriating. Sometimes unavoidable, but once sheer bad manners.

  4. If only I could reach out through my laptop screen and help myself. Denise, you are a good cook, and I appreciate the trouble you must have taken over preparing this spread. My sympathies to those who missed it.
