An A to Z Peek

As if anyone who reads my blog did not already know this, my A to Z theme this year is again based on my travels.

Last year I was fortunate enough to visit three foreign countries, Russia, Finland, and Estonia...The Netherlands too if you count my stay in the airport in Amsterdam.

I will try during the challenge to give you an idea of what I saw in each of these countries...mostly pictures.  I will, however, provide links to websites where you can obtain more information.

The great thing about having a travel theme is that I get to relive my vacation all over again...even as I sit here in the dead of winter writing about it.  And, while I have nearly all of my posts written, I've already made some letter changes, so I may still do that as the month progresses.

If there is anything you would like to know about my experiences during my journey, please do not hesitate to ask.  I'd be more than happy to share.

I also look forward to reading the blogs of others in the challenge.  It is always fun to find new bloggers to enjoy.

Here's hoping that you join me on my April A to Z journey.

  1. I very much look forward to your pictures and posts. I have never been to any of the three countries you mentioned first, but I have been to Amsterdam lots - although never the airport :).

    1. Amsterdam is at the top of my must-see list. I've been to the airport several times but never left except to get on another plane.

  2. Been to Amsterdam but not the airport. Not to your other choices. I am, of course, interested in the food. I have heard food in Russia is terrible but that was a long time ago.

I've disappeared from the A to Z list but my theme will be food.

    1. How did you disappear from the list? I remember seeing you on it. My author profile has disappeared from my blog, along with several others. No explanation online that I could find.

    4. On Alex's A to Z blog I am not there, on the actual sign up list from a while back I am still at 71 so I don't know what's going on. My last name is actually Wake by the way, but Blogger wouldn't accept it for some reason so had to use Henderson, a family name.

  6. I love travel themes! :) I have never been to any of those countries, but I would love to. God knows I know a lot of their stories already :) (I am doing the national epic of Estonia as part of my theme of epics). Sounds like fun!
