Butterfly Gardens

There are more advantages to keeping the deer out of my yard than just having flowers bloom.  This year I have been fortunate enough to see regular appearances of swallowtail butterflies and hummingbirds.  I am not quick enough with the camera to catch a picture of the hummingbirds, but the butterflies are much more tolerant of my prowling.  Here is one enjoying the six foot tall Joe Pye Weed.
