  2. There are similar tributes all over France, Belgium and Holland many of which I have seen and they are, very moving. Of course there are similar tributes to the British troops, Australians and all the many other nations who took part.

  8. A moving tribute. Canada's Day of remembrance is on November 11th, when I believe Americans have Veterans Day? Sadly, we have only the one per year.

    1. I am so far behind in reading posts I may never catch up. Lots of tributes during May in this area of Europe celebrating their liberation in WW II.
