I'm a big fan of the Impressionists so I'm really looking forward to visiting the National Gallery and Courtauld Gallery in London this summer. Enjoy the Challenge. Right now my coffee table in the family room is covered with Charlie's toys and the one in the living room has all the books on the bottom with just silk flowers on top thanks to 'little fingers', lol. We packed things up when we thought we were moving, or put away stuff because we had two little kids running around breaking everything, so I don't know where my coffee table books went. But I do love books about art. So relaxing to flip through. I didn't realize it was the 100th anniversary of the National Parks, that's so cool! Nice entry for the challenge. 'Stuff' that my kids said they didn't want and then six months later they asked for it. I've now decided that my kids can rid of 'stuff' when I'm gone. The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is anther amazing one - my husband and I always try to visit whenever we get over to the Netherlands. Last time we went we were a bit sad because we had put a whole day aside to visit it, but we'd both come down with a horrible bug, so we only made it until lunch time.

We have several coffee table books, but mostly they are in our library for safe keeping :). The special exhibition of The Pre-Raphs was amazing and we picked up one there. The thing I realised seeing the pictures up close and personal is that photos do not do the pre-raphs justice, however.
Tasha
Tasha's Thinkings | Wittegen Press | FB3X (AC)Tasha Duncan-Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12591239019422681163noreply@blogger.com
