Great American Read #71-80

The Sun Also Rises - I have not read this book nor seen the movie.  As a matter of fact, I have not read any Ernest Hemingway.  I have visited his birthplace in Oak Park, Illinois.  I love this porch.

Swan Song - No clue.

Tales of the City - I have not read this but I did see a program on the author, Armistead Maupin.  It was very interesting.  Someday.

The Alchemist - This is one of those books that I thought I read.  But checking my library records it says I did not check it out.  I'll put it back on my TBR.

The Help - Wow.  I could not even make it to page 50.  To each his own.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Another book I have heard of but again have no idea what it is about unless I google it.  If I have to travel around the galaxy, I want to do it in a TARDIS.

The Hunger Games - I love this book series.  It speaks to the rebel in me.  Written for young adults it was recommended to me by a waitress who said her sister was reading it for her 8th grade English class.  I like the movies too.  And for you Sesame Street fans:
The Intuitionist - No clue.  Or intuition on this one.

The Joy Luck Club - I read this book ages ago and saw the movie.  It was interesting and enjoyable.

The Little Prince - Somehow this has never made it onto my 'tbr' list and I doubt that it will.

And now we are almost done.  Are you voting?
