Tree Number Four

I just realized that this year all four Christmas trees are in the same room.  The last one is up and Charlie found the ornaments interesting.

I still have enough ornaments to decorate another tree.  And that is after clearing out many of them a few years ago and donating them.  I was quite spartan with the ornaments though this year.  I wanted each of them to stand out on their own.  Now, I get to enjoy the decorations for a few weeks.
The only thing left to do is put out the village.  But that will go on the table where Charlie has his train, so it will have to wait until my babysitting ends for the holidays.  I have a train to put under the tree and can't wait to see his face when he sees it.

  1. Oh how cute with the train under the tree! I had forgotten we did that when the kids were younger! Yes,indeed, your little grandson will like that very much! Very nicely done with the tree!

  2. Wow 4 trees! I don't have the room. We do have 2 train sets. Lionel that belonged to my husband's father and a Tyco that belonged to my first born son. I'd love to add it to the Christmas mix...just think the dog and cat would probably be fascinated. Tree looks great.

    1. I sold my Lionel train set cause nkne of my sons wanted it. I still have the track set stored in the basement on a huge board. Guess it goes with the house when I sell.

  3. The joy of grandchildren! I don't have the room for four trees but I can enjoy other trees (like yours) virtually. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Well, two are tabletop (only two feet high) and the other is 4 feet. And this tall one is narrow. I used to have this monster tree that was about 5 feet wide. I had to move out half the chairs. I love these smaller trees.

  4. It is always fun to take out the ornaments and revisit how pretty they are and the memories they bring. He seems to be really happy checking out your tree.

  5. I found one tree hard enough this year. I do like hanging the ornaments though, nice to remember where they came from. Glad Charlie likes the ornaments. Seen trains under trees in movies but never in actual fact.
