Heatwave

Well, my neighborhood never got the rain they kept forecasting.  Hail, damaging winds, torrential downpours.  BS.  Yesterday I spent four hours watering plants that were drooping.   Today we are supposed to hit the 90's.  THAT, they will probably be right about.

I will stay inside after my morning yoga class and try to keep cool.  Hope you enjoy your week-end whatever the weather is where you are.

  2. Less humidity than normal in a heatwave today. We walked about 9:30 am and were comfortable. But tomorrow, the fun really starts with highs in the 90's. And by Monday, we'll be around 95. Hot for us in upstate New York. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Sorry to hear you are still sick. I am just dealing with allergies. Runny nose and sore throat. Sure hope it isn't anything else. Take care.

  5. Such a pretty back yard! So green! Stay cool! We are bracing for the 118 tomorrow and 120 on Monday. Lots of indoor time and I'm sure the air conditioner will be on 24/7.

    1. I have a son in Austin and he thinks 60 is cold, but I could never get used to that heat. 120 is even too hot to be in a pool, so enjoy your AC.

It is definitely Winter here........10 degrees Celsius or 50F. I would be happy with 90F :)

    1. I'd be happier with 50 than the heat we will have today. The flowers aren't the only thing wilting.

  8. Beautiful! I know people love summer, but I basically spend as little time outside as possible because it's just TOO hot!

    1. I like looking at the yard from inside. It is almost seven and it is still too hot to even sit in the shade.

  9. Beautiful photo! The shade looks so inviting, like we should be walking out there, sipping iced tea and talking.
We've had heat, mostly sunny skies, with one brief, loud thunderstorm yesterday afternoon.
