A Kremlin View - K part 2

I received a comment about the size of the Kremlin and remembered that I had a photo taken from a distance.

Here it is:

From the red towers on the left to the golden church spires on the right, that is the Kremlin.

  1. Big place. At least the communists weren't stupid like the ISIS bunch who are destroying ancient artifacts.

    1. Don't you wonder what their mothers fed them for breakfast? Do they really believe that any true god would condone slaughter and devastation?

    2. I wonder how many have actually read the Koran. I also wonder if it's religious or just a bunch of hoods who are enjoying their power. Bit like the Nazis.

  2. The Kremlin always looks so imposing to me.

  3. Wow! Thank you for both posts. I've never seen it from these perspectives and it makes it much more beautiful to me than "formidable" which is what it always looks like in movies... Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com

    1. I grew up in the generation of hiding under the school desk during air-raid drills and fearing that the Russians were coming...or worse. This was just so amazing to see. And I think the movies like to make it look scary.

  4. a friend of mine visited Russia in January - it was like out of Dr Zhivago with snow and furs. Very impressive and foreboding. She said the people were really nice.

    1. January? She must be brave. I would like to see it in Winter, I just don't want to 'feel' it. I did find everyone to be very nice.

  5. Great picture to add and see how big it really is. I agree about Isis as well. I wonder how many are hoodlums who have no respect for anything since they are destroying ancient works of art.
