The Sweetest Thing

This morning I was reading the latest blog post at Jo on Food, My Travels, and a Scent of Chocolate when I saw my name.  Aha.  I have been given the Super Sweet Blogging Award.  How sweet!  Thank you.

I have to answer five questions and nominate five other bloggers.  First, the questions:

1. Cookies or Cake?   Definitely cookies.  Not that I don't like cake, which is likely safer since I have never been tempted to eat an entire one at one sitting.  Cookies?  Just keep sending them my way.

2. Chocolate or Vanilla?  Chocolate.  Especially dark chocolate.

3. Favorite Sweet Treat?  Sander's dark chocolate sea salt caramels.  Oh my!

4. When do you crave sweet things the most?  I am supposed to pick a single time?   I have a sweet tooth.  Actually, I have 28 of them.

5. Sweet nickname?   I don't think so.  My sister calls me Dee.  Only nickname I have ever had.

My nominees, who also write sweet blogs, are:

1.  Carol Z at Buttercup Counts Her Blessings.  A relatively new retiree in New York City.  I have been reading her blog for a few years and thoroughly enjoy it.  And you have to love a blog with the word 'butter' in it.

2.  Lynn P at My Life as Lynn Proctor.  She often shares her recipes, too.   And her life, stories of her children and grandchildren.

3.  Kellie at Delightfully Ludicrous.  While I can't remember her posting any recipes, her blog never fails to amuse me.   Some days it is just laugh out funny.  Delightfully sweet.

4.  Sharon at Strong Foundations.  No recipes, cookies or chocolate, just lots of great family history and genealogy.  I am so envious of all the documents she has about her family.

5.  Cynthia at A Few Drops of Ink.   I think she is an amazing writer.  And I've learned a lot about India from reading her blog.

So there are my nominees for the Super Sweet Blogging Award.  They span the globe and point out wonders of the Internet age we live in.

Have a great day and visit their sites.
