Breaking the Rules

The other day I nominated eleven blogs for a Liebster Award.  I have previously discussed the so-called 'rules', which vary depending on whose site you read.  The number you nominate, the number of readers they have, whether or not all the various questions are used.

When I listed my nominees, I looked at the list of 'blogs I follow' and chose those I had not given the award to last time.  For whatever reason, one of the blogs I read regularly was not on my list.  I soon realized this as soon as I received a comment from the person.

So, tada, drum roll, I have decided to give out one more Award.  This is going to Lucy's Reality.   I discovered the blog during the A - Z Challenge and it was one I decided was truly worth my time.

I invite you to check it out, send her congratulations on her son's graduation from law school, and read the funny post from last Saturday.  I am sure you will enjoy her blog as much as I do.

I hope she will accept the Award and my apologies for forgetting her in the original list.  I await her acceptance and answers and hope to see the award (there are many different logos on the web) on her blog.

  1. Congrats to Lucy!

There are so many of these award graphics floating around. The individual award rules are relatively consistent, it's odd the graphics keep changing.

  2. I discovered some older posts on this award that said to nominate 5, not 11, and have found varying restrictions on the number of blog followers from 100 - 1000. I think it is the recognition that counts.
