This morning, along with my Sunday newspaper, I received a copy of 'StyleLine' magazine. I almost never find anything of value in this mag, but I do glance through it.
Let's face it: I live in an area where I have seen folks show up at the symphony in jeans and a t-shirt. People go to work on casual Friday looking they they are there to mop the floors, not wait on customers or perform their clerical duties. Most of these folks are not wearing the latest fashion trends, let alone what is deemed acceptable dress IMHO.
Today I got quite a chuckle out of the magazine. I came across a pair of, get this for an oxymoron, some sandal-boots. If you want to know how a boot can be a sandal, here is a pic from Pinterest:
I have to agree with one pinner who said she would like to actually see these on a human. I'd like to see them walk a mile in them-there shoes. These boots definitely do not look like they are made for walking.
And here is the best part: they can be yours for only $2,185. And if these are not your style, you can shop for other styles here.
